Concrete Finishers/Laborers

Position Summary:

As a Concrete Finisher at Ark Rentals you will perform a variety of tasks, including forming, placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete surfaces according to specifications and drawings. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in changing outdoor conditions.

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company equipment, including truck, trailer, and skid loader
• Set forms, place, finish, and cure concrete for sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and other structures
• Perform concrete finishing and general labor tasks with minimal supervision
• Follow company safety standards at all times
• Maintain productivity and quality on every project
• Complete other assigned duties as needed

Knowledge / Skills Required:

• Prior concrete finishing experience and a valid Class A driver’s license required
• Strong knowledge of slump, curing procedures, additives, and testing methods
• Ability to read and follow specifications, drawings, and measurements
• Skilled in proper use of hand and power tools related to concrete work
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs., work long shifts (8–12 hours), and perform physically demanding tasks (climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, etc.)
• Organized, hardworking, and team-oriented

Tool Policy :

• Employee-provided: work boots, tool belt, and hand tools (shovels, rakes, floats, jointers, edgers, finishing tools)
