Outside Sales Representative

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Outside Sales Representative with experience in garage doors and/or construction to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who combines technical knowledge, sales expertise, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Territory:

• Bloomsburg / Wilkes-Barre / Scranton
• Lancaster / Reading / Lebanon

Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Perform field inspections to verify job completion for installers as requested by the scheduling department
• Support installers and service technicians throughout the workday as needed
• Conduct field checks related to product damage or manufacturing deficiencies
• Assist the sales department in reviewing product pricing and ensuring price list accuracy
• Support the introduction of new products into the sales portfolio
• Prepare accurate job estimates
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Collect payments and ensure timely account resolution

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction and/or garage door industry (preferred)
• Proven sales experience with strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of building materials and construction processes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (in person and by phone)
• Professional interpersonal skills, including patience, courtesy, and attention to detail

Position Requirements:

• First shift, daytime hours (some evenings and weekends may be required)
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
• Strong documentation and follow-up skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze workflows and recommend process improvements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, hearing, and writing
• Visual acuity to read documents and work at a computer workstation
